Cereal and Online Codes Galore

The STL deal at Smiths is a great one this week. It actually only goes until Tuesday, but until then you can get the extra large boxes of cereal (select General Mills, such as Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, etc.) for 5 for $10 which is darn good. Go get some!

There are a ton of online code deals to tell you about, BUT most of them are only for a few days, so note the expiration dates. Here we go:

MONDAY (DEC. 1) ONLY! Gap is offering free shipping with no minimum order! Code is ONEDAY.

Ann Taylor LOFT is offering 30% off any order plus free shipping. Code is GIFTS. Expires 12/1/08.

Online Shoes is offering $25 off purchase of $100 or more, plus free shipping. Code is ENTSAVE25. Exp. 12/2/08.

JCPenney is offering free shipping on orders over $25 for their Screenbuster sale. Code is 44FS25. Exp. 12/1/08.

Amazon has a cool set of Scholastic Treasury of 100 Storybook Classic 16-DVD set, and Treasury of 20 Storybook Classics 4-disc DVD set, when bought together is only $45 plus free shipping.

Sweat suits, Toys and Guitars Oh My!

It has been hard to keep up with all the deals the last few days, so I decided to take a short hiatus to eat turkey, pumpkin pie and to go shopping! Hopefully you all had a great Thanksgiving and didn't gain as much weight as I'm sure I did! Here are a few deals I thought were worth noting . . .

I, personally, like the Old Navy doorbusters for today. Since I'm a creature of comfort, I live in sweats and pjs if I can get away with it. They have basic fleece sweat pants and sweat shirt for $10 each--nice comfy outfit for $20. They also have all their graphic tees for $5.

eToys is still having some great deals on toys if you are still in the market after yesterday! Here is a list of their holiday weekend specials and there are some great deals! For example, there is a Yukon Express Wood Train Station that used to be $50 and it is on sale for $7.99! And really there are too many to list that are great prices; just go to their "holiday weekend specials".

Anyone need a guitar for their Wii Rock Band or Guitar Hero? Amazon has one for $7 right now, but I'm finding throughout the day that the prices are subject to change at any time, so if you want it, act fast. It is also eligible for Free Super Saver Shipping over $25.

Build-A-Bear, Shoes, Aeropostale

Some pretty decent STLs today:

Build-A-Bear is offering $40 worth of gift cards for only $25 and free shipping. These would make great gifts from Grandma/Grandpa for their little grandkids. Follow these directions:

1. Click here
2. Add 3 $10 gift cards to cart
3. When in cart, you will be prompted to add an additional $10 GC for only $5
4. Checkout, apply coupon code 93304 for $10 off
Your total will be $10 x 3 + $5 x 1 - $10 = $25 with free shipping.

Shoes.com is having a 75% off sale on mens and womens shoes. They are also offering an additional percentage off plus free shipping. Try these codes: CASHOES15 (15% off), YAMS (10% off) and BFF08 (20% off).

Once again, Aeropostale has dropped their prices to 50-70% off. I'm not sure if this applies to their stores or not.

Happy Shopping! Get a newspaper tomorrow for the Black Friday deals! I'll try to post some in case you don't get the paper. Happy Thanksgiving!

Twilight Books Anyone?

I don't know many people like me who don't have the Twilight series yet, but in case you don't, Barnes and Noble has a great deal going on them right now, but you have to purchase with a Master Card. It's $35 for all, with free shipping. Follow these directions:

1. Click here
2. Search for 9780316031844
3. Add to cart

Apply coupon H4D4U8B (V7E3F7F for Barnes & Noble members) at checkout
The coupon may not work if you do not have a mastercard selected as your form of payment. If you receive an error message the first time, try again. It should work the 2nd time. Barnes and Noble members, use coupon V7E3F7F instead to save 40% on top of your membership discount.

Anyone need makeup? I've never ordered from here before, but ELF (Eyes Lips Face) is having cosmetics for only $1. Pretty cool. Try coupon code EGSHIPBJ for $2 shipping.

Traditionally, for each new baby we'd buy them their own ornament for Christmas with their name on it. We almost always get them from Things Remembered. Use coupon code XMAS10 for a 10% off savings.

If you are in need of hair care products and like Dove (I do), here is a coupon for $1 off at Target.

Cool site! I just found a new site for toys called eToys and they are not only having some great sales right now, but they are offering free shipping on hundreds of toys. If you know specifically what you want, why not search it, have it sent to you for free?

Spiderman, Music and More

This week means some crazy shopping for everyone. My sister's bishop, in a parent-only meeting yesterday, urged everyone to be cautious in their spending this Christmas and to not go into debt. Our economy is fragile, yes retailers will suffer this year, but our love for our children is not determined by how much we spend or how many gifts we give them. So, I second his words. I will try to post the best deals I find, to prevent any major wallet catastrophies. Please, if you see something cool, send it my way so I can add it!

For little Spidey fans everywhere, there is a Spiderman Training Studio, complete with DVD, training mat and punching bag retails for $35, on sale for a low $5.74! Cool gift for a few bucks.

Fisher Price has a I Can Play Guitar System, for those budding musicians out there. Retails for $120, on sale for $44.

For fans of The Killers, (and who wouldn't be with that name!) Amazon is offering a complete download of their newest album for $3.99.

I got a notification from Aeropostale yesterday that they will have some unbelievable deals each day this week. Sure enough, they are offering 50% off everything !

Ok, so we'll start with those. . .

Toys, Gloss and Didj

I'll start with my favorite. Has anyone heard of the new Leapfrog system called Didj? In my research, I've found this to be an amazing little learning system. You can actually download your child's level of math or weekly spelling list, for example, from your computer. Then, the games will prompt your child every few minutes to answer a question in order for them to move on. You can try it out at your local Target. It's hard to find this system under $90 but Leapfrog is having their friends and family sale right now, for 30% off, making the system $63! There are also games on the site and other accessories. Free shipping over $50. Promotional code is HY8NFF.

My brother got me some Burt's Bees products for Christmas a few years ago and I loved them! Problem is, they are pricey (just check Kohlers!). Burts Bees is having a great sale right now of a 5-pack lip gloss for $5, plus $3 s/h. Would make great stocking stuffers.

If you are doing your Christmas shopping online this year, our friend Amazon is having a deal on select toys, such as Littlest Pet Shop. If you spend $50, you get a free toy, up to a $24.99 value. Not a bad option.

If anything else pops up, I'll let you know! Ta, ta for now! GO COUGS!!!

Sorry--Late posting!

Went to see Twilight with sister and Mom, (great flick, by the way) so I'm getting this out later than I wanted, but here are my STLs for today:

My cousin tipped me off to a great deal for those of you with little girls. Right now at Limited Too, everything is buy one get one free, PLUS on top of that you get 30% off your entire order! Code is 758. They have Webkins, so with the percentage off you could get 2 for less than $12, making each one less than $6. Thanks Christina!

Also, I haven't explored the site much yet, but my friend told me about Ebates. Here's what she said: "You start at this site, when purchasing something, and click through them to get to whatever site you want to buy from. They open a tracking ticket, and when you make your purchase, they give you a rebate for a percentage of the purchase. They have really good rebates- the current rebate for a Barnes and Noble purchase is 8%. You can still use whatever coupons or promotions or whatever that you have, they just give you an 8% (or whatever) rebate for your purchase total (pre-shipping). They save up your purchases for three or four months, and then send you a check. I've gotten two or three now, and it is a pretty good deal, since it doesn't cost you anything, and just takes more off of your total. They are running a refer-a-friend promotion now where you get an additional $10 added to your check if your first qualifying purchase is before 12/31." Thanks Amber!

Also, another favorite site of mine, and I know many of yours as well, is Half.com. They have every book, CD, video game, etc. you could possibly want at a fraction of the cost. They might be slightly used, but I've never had any problems with things I've ordered from here.

Also, not that I'm a huge Walmart fan, but they are having some crazy clearance deals right now. Check out kids' apparel if needed! Cute stuff. Shipping is cheap or you can have it sent to the nearest Wally's for free.

Please feel free to send me links or other deals if you see them so I can post them for all to see! Thanks to those of you who have shared!

Friends and Family, Guitar Hero 3, etc

We don't yet own a Wii system, but I have many friends and family who have them and the talk this season is of the new release of Guitar Hero III:Legends of Rock. Amazon has it for $35 (eligible for Super Saver free shipping) PLUS if you get the game or the Aerosmith version, you can get 2 guitars for $20! So, with the game, plus 2 guitars it is only $55. I thought that was a great deal. It's Amazon's Countdown to Black Friday deal.

Also, I'm a big fan of Aeropostale and they have their friends and family 30% off right now with code FRIENDS08 (exp.11/23). Here is a printable in-store coupon for those who would prefer to go in and try things on.

Also, here is a printable coupon for $10 off $25 for JCPenny.

Okay, so there's a start for today. I'll be back to add more later!

Gifts for Men and More

Am I the only person who finds it hard to shop for men? I doubt it. Well, my husband is a huge college football fan and I saw that Amazon has college hooded sweatshirts for $17.99 (with free shipping if you spend over $25). They have virtually every college on there and I know Costco was selling similar hoodies recently for over $30, so not too shabby.

There are also some decent deals at the Nike Store in the clearance section. Also, right now, you can get an additional 20% off the clearance with code NOVCLEAR (exp 11/26) and free shipping with code GIVENIKE (exp. 12/20). They have some great gear and shoes on sale for the sports fanatic.

Can you say Crazy Fare?

The first STL of this newly-created blog helps to perfectly define who I am. I love Disney! It's a magic that goes way back to childhood. Anyway, the deal I found today was an unbelievable round-trip ticket to Orlando, FL for $99 from SLC on Delta! If you're interested, there are still dates available (Dec-Feb 11) so act fast! My favorite search engine for airfare deals (and the cheapest I've found) is on Cheap Air. You'll have the best price if you put that your dates are flexible. Sunny Florida mid-winter? Yeah, that's a beautiful thing.
