Today is the last day of Southwest's 48-hour fare sale. There are too many deals to list, some as low as $30 each way! Click on the link and find your city to find where the deals are offered.
Seems as though the love is spreading because today Air Tran Airways launched THEIR 48-hour sale. Here are some sample roundtrip fares, which include all taxes:

- San Francisco - Ft. Lauderdale ... $179

Other cities are also available, but you have to look them up using the site. You can look at them and book them through CheapAir through Thursday night. To get the best rates, try to travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays and avoid Sunday flights, as discount seats are hardest to come by on that day.
I also thought I'd throw in, for local fans, the deals out of SLC today. My favorites are either to Seattle for $123 or San Diego for $98 or San Fransisco for $120 or how about Tampa for $180--all round-trip.
