Headphones, Lowes and Report Card Freebies

I saw these last week and thought they were a great price. Can anyone tell me if they really work well? Just wondering if they stay on your head through jumping and running or whatever other workout you might be doing?
H2O Audio Black Behind-the-Neck Sports Headphones on Buy.com for only $7.99 from $70, with free shipping.

If you are planning any summer projects, or still need to get that garden in, here is a Lowe's coupon for $10 off a $50 purchase. Why not save a few bucks?

Friday Favorite

What can I say more except that I love my Magic Bullet! There's so much you can do with it, but my favorite, and most frequent use, is making shakes or smoothies. In fact right now I sip on my chocolate-raspberry-banana protein shake for breakfast, after my morning run. Here's a link to one of my favorite recipes I make with it: Spinach Smoothies! The best deal right now is found at Costco. With the $10 off coupon that expires on May 31, you can get the deluxe version of it for only $44.99!

Great coupons for Kashi waffles! It's $1.50 off and Target sells the box for about $1.79, so you'd be getting them for .29 cents! I think you can print up to two.

Kohls is having a one-day sale on their sport tankini pieces--$16.99 each and they are really cute!

One dozen Krispy Kreme donuts for .99 cents on May 23! It's in celebration of National Penny Day--who knew they had that? I would call your store ahead to make sure they are participating before you go, though.

Friday Favorite--Latepost

I'm getting this off late, but wanted to tell you about another favorite thing of mine. My friend gave me the Pedi-Egg for my birthday because she has loved hers and wanted to share. I loved mine so much that I, in turn, gave these as Mother's Day gifts this year. It's called smooth, soft, summer-ready heels and feet without the cost of a regular pedicure! I know the idea of cheese-grating your own skin makes a lot of people cringe, but it doesn't hurt and it makes my feet lovely-soft! It will run you about $10, but I got mine at Bed, Bath and Beyond with a 20% off coupon, that comes regularly in the mail, for about $8.

Friday Favorite

With summer approaching, it has many people thinking about trips, getaways and second honeymoons. I frequently have people ask me to find them a good deal on a flight. I inevitably refer them to the most user-friendly, lowest-listed-fare site that I've found--CheapAir. One thing I love about it is that I can simply click the box where it says "dates flexible" and the prices will drop even more. After all, that is how I got a $325 rt fare from SLC to Hawaii three years ago! (Oh, and if you plan on going, I will have to tell you my FAVE restaurant!) I just got an email from CheapAir this morning telling me that all the airlines have just started a fare war, so if you are looking to head out somewhere, check it out.

Friday Favorite---and more

If I had more money to spare these days, I think I would pamper myself more, wouldn't you? After all, a mom's job is hard work. My sis introduced me and the spa I have referred friends to is Amara. The owner, Lea, started it in her Lindon basement and has recently talked about going to a commercial location since the business is growing so much. The staff there knows how to take care of you and they do a great job at everything I've had done there, which has mostly been waxings and the very-occasional massage. So, if you are in need of anything and live in the area, check it out!

A few other deals that must be mentioned:
Borders 40% off coupon good until tomorrow, in store only.

Tulle is having a major sale coming up. All things pictured is cute and under $7 each! It starts on May 5 and goes until May 7. Make sure to check it out next week and early so sizes don't go.
