Another crazy Hawaii Deal

My brother is in Hawaii right now. In fact today he is planning a helicopter tour and some surfing. Poor me, stuck here in sub-zero, frigid weather. It's good to dream right? Well, dream this awesome deal. Kona, Hawaii RT from SLC for $280. I have been to that island and loved it! It is where I saw the amazing waterfall above. There is an active volcano as well as white sand beaches and a much more laid-back, surfer-town atmosphere. Here are some other sample fares from Travelzoo through United Airlines:

- Salt Lake City-Kona ... $280
- Denver-Honolulu ... $281
- Denver-Maui ... $285
- Colorado Springs-Lihue ... $289
- Denver-Kona ... $289

You must book by December 15. Don't see your city? Check out this link to see what kind of deals there are for your area.

Black Friday Madness

My brain is so full with all the deals that are out there right now that I thought I'd put up a few for you all to take advantage of, perhaps. Some are Black Friday deals and others are pre-Black Friday.

First off, you know when I find a sweet deal to Hawaii I always have to post it. I always say "this is the lowest I have ever see it". Well, this deal beats all previous deals. If you are spontaneous, of course, you can cash in on 2 RT tickets to ANY of the 4 islands of Hawaii, PLUS a 3-night stay at a high-end hotel (see details in link) for only, wait for it, $329 (GASP!). Yes, that includes 2 of you! BUT, you must fly out of LA or San Fransisco and you must travel between Dec. 1-16. Interested? Check it out here.

My sis is a big Forever 21 fan. They are having some nice deals coming up. Here is what they are offering and when:
Holiday promotions from Forever 21:
11/27 - 11/28 = $6 denim
11/29 - 12/5 = $6 logo tee's
12/6 - 12/12 = $4 pajamas
12/13 - 12/17 = $1 nail polish

Scarves are in! I found Nimli, an "organic" site, through a deal link and quite like some of their styles. On Black Friday they will be offering silk scarves for only $1! If you look a their original prices, you will see that this will be an amazing amount off. While you are there, check out their sale section. Cute stuff that is slashed from the original prices.

Free photo book and free shipping through Photoworks with code BONNIE. Exp 12/7 or until 25,000 have been redeemed. Tis the season for photo books!

Buy a Wii game, get one free on Amazon right now (select titles).

Okay, I may be posting more later as I see them!

UP coupon, Deep Discount, GAP, Black Friday

Print out this $10 off coupon for the "UP" Blu-ray combo pack. Anyone seen it? I haven't but heard it's a cute movie. It just was released this week so most places should have it on sale anyway. My favorite places? Target or Walmart. I saw it at Costco today for $19 (DVD) but I don't think you can use outside coupons there.

Deep Discount is having their mega-sale from November 13-29. All music will be 30% off, books 30%, dvd's & blu-ray 40%, Up to 70% on Video games, 40% on Media Storage units, fragrances 10%, and 70% off on other fun stuff on the site.

Today for Veteran's Day at any GAP, the entire store is an extra 25% off--even on clearance items!
ALSO, tomorrow starts the 30% off friends and family for anything in the store as well. Go to this link if you don't already have a coupon to print out.

Anyone else getting geared up for Black Friday like me? Although I prefer to wait for the paper, there are a few ads that have either been leaked or released already and here they are:

Sam's Club
Office Max
Kmart
Sears

Park City, Nordstrom, PJ Pals and TVs

I stumbled across this great travel deal that happens to be close to home. There are vacation rentals starting at just $93 in Park City and there is an offer for a free night. Travel by end of January. Check it out here.

Just so you know, Nordstrom is having their semi-annual 50% off sale right now.

Just because I ordered my boys their PJ Pal Christmas jammies already, they have gone on sale! ARG! Hopefully at least you can benefit from the $5 PJ Pals at Disney Store. It is a great price!

Walmart has some great prices on tvs right now. For example, click on this link and you will find a Sharp 42" 1080p HDTV for $498. Since we need one, what do you think? Act now or hold out for Black Friday deals?

On the same note, check out Costco's tv deals coming up:

Costco coupons -
Nov 12-29th- 40" Proscan 1080P 499 after 100 off. 2000:1 c, 3x HDMI
Viore 22" 1080p LED backlight LCD HDTV 2x HDMI, 25mm thin 269 after 50 off.

Online Nov 12th to 29th no coupon needed-
$80 dollars off VIZIO 37 inch 1080P. $599 current price - $80= $519
Pricing decent but add in Costco 2 year warranty and 90 days return policy and some pretty decent deals with warranty assurance.

The Proposal, though I haven't seen it yet and hear it is a cute movie, comes out on DVD and Blu-ray today. You can now use a $5 or $10 off coupon depending on whether you get the DVD or Blu-ray. I think Target has it for $14.99 this week. Not a bad deal.

Friday Favorite

Disney fanatical, that's me. And let's just face it, Disney knows how to do everything right, don't they? From the pristine theme parks to the instantly classic movies. The enterprise hasn't made too many false moves in the last 50+ years. I have always loved Disney and will continue in my loyalty, particularly when it comes to Disney parks. I came across this new promotion that Disney starting Jan. 1, 2010 and my fondness grows deeper as I realize the goodness of it all. Disney is offering a free day at either Disneyland or Walt Disney World to anyone who volunteers a day of service and any participating organization of their choice. A day for a day, paying it forward. It gets more people involved in helping other people, changing hearts, changing lives, changing the world a little at a time. Now that's my kind of promotion! Check it out and sign up for email updates about this program.

Wizard of Oz, the Theater, Speakers and Razors

There is some great music that stirs up memories and images from my childhood. One such soundtrack is the music from the "Wizard of Oz". Amazon has the entire soundtrack (with even some never-before-heard songs!) for a mere $3.99 download. Maybe there is someone out there who enjoys the music as much as I do. . .

There are some free nights at the theater coming up in various cities around the U.S. Need a free date idea? Want something to do? Check it out here.

There is a decent set of speakers perhaps for your computer, including subwoofer, from Frys.com for $19.99 and includes free shipping.

One thing we all use, but hate to, and they are inevitably fairly expensive is a razor, to rid our mortal bodies of unwanted hair. Well, here's a great deal for you:
Walgreens has Gillette Fusion Razors (regular or power system) for $8.99 - $6 register rewards. There is a $4 off coupon in the Sunday paper. Here is the final math..

$8.99 Razors
-$6 register rewards
-$4 coupon in Sunday paper
---------
$1.01 profit in your pocket
$4 coupon can be found in the P&G brand saver insert

Hawaii, Aveda, Cold Stone, Pumpkins and Blackberries

You know whenever I see a deal to Hawaii I have to post about it because it's one of my all-time favorite places to travel to--especially when it is this good! There are a few packages available, but the most noteworthy includes rt airfare plus a 3-day rental car for $299 out of LA or San Fransisco! That is crazy cheap. For more information, go to this article at Frommers.com.

If you have an Aveda store near you, print out this coupon for a free 10 ml bottle of Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener. Make sure your store is participating, of course.

This Thursday from 5-8 p.m. join Cold Stone and the Make-A-Wish Foundation for some yummy ice cream for a good cause. With any donation, you will receive a 3 oz. Make-A-Wish Creation.

My husband is artistic and loves to express his creative abilities each Halloween with the pumpkins he carves. There are some free stencils at Better Homes and Gardens with some after pictures. Take a peek!

I know the Hyatt is a strange place to find a free Blackberry Smartphone deal, but that's exactly where you will find it. Participating carriers are AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. For more information, check the Hyatt site.

Friday Favorite--Latepost

If you know me you know I'm into natural stuff--the fewer the added preservatives, colors, hydrogenated oils, the better for me. I know, call me crazy. These are the best suckers I've ever had! Even better is my kids love them. They are made by Yummy Earth and are completely organic. There are real fruit and vegetables (even red cabbage!) in each one--talk about a great way to get your daily dose of good stuff. Just check out these flavors: Sour Apple Tart, Pomegranate Pucker, Mango Tango, TooBerry Blueberry, Googly Grape, Strawberry Smash, Very Very Cherry, Wet-Face Watermelon. You can either buy them at Good Earth or some other health food store OR you can get them on Amazon right now, an entire bin of 150 suckers for $12. That works out to be about .08 cents per sucker, so much cheaper than buying them at your local health food store.

Too-many-to-list Tuesday!

Who didn't love watching Neverending Story as a child? It was one of my favorites and I'm willing to bet my kids would love it just the same. Buy.com has not only the first movie, but the second included for only $7.29, free shipping! Go grab the double feature as an early Christmas preparation!

Walgreen is offering free haircuts! "What?" you say? Get one Great clips haircut free when you buy one with the coupon on boxes of General Mills Cookie Crisp cereal. It is BOGO for two people on the same visit. The coupons expire 05/31/2010. Not too shabby if you consider the cereal is about $2.

AND, if anyone out there still uses film, then you can appreciate this next coupon. Walgreens will develop a roll of 4x6 prints for free! Use this coupon on Wednesday September 16 only!

There are a few free Kindle books through Amazon. Check it out and see if any of them interest you. I only know one person with the Kindle, but maybe, just maybe there are more out there!

I have 2 printable coupons for a free ProteinBlitz drink. One is for GNC and the other is Vitamin Shoppe. Haven't tried it and don't know how tasty it is, but free is always a good thing and muscle fuel? Yeah, they need fuel too.
Coupon 1
Coupon 2

If you feel like doing something different this year for Halloween, how about trying some cute sucker holders from Lillian Vernon. You get 32 for a mere .98 cents!

Attention Yoga Fans! Did you know that September is National Yoga Month? I had no idea there was such a thing, but Organic Style does and has lowered prices on yoga wear over 70%. I would have to agree that these prices ($11.95) are pretty decent. Seems like cute, versatile, well-made clothing.

Want another idea to help prepare for Santa day? Fisher Price has marked down several of their toys on their website and until October 2 you can have them shipped for FREE with code F27946. Grab the good toys while they are still there!

Last, but certainly not least, I must post this next item in memory of my second triathlon completed just Saturday. 1 Sale A Day has the daily deal as a Mens Timex Ironman Triathlon watch (why don't they ever offer womens watches?!?!) for only $20, and $5 shipping. That's about $90 off! But the clock is ticking on it and when the timer reaches zero, you are out of luck!

Pedis--need I say more? I rarely get the opportunity to pamper my feet, but when I do, oh, what a difference it makes! My toes pictured above were painted for my sister-in-laws wedding a month ago and they still look great today (okay, maybe a little grown out) so definitely worth the investment. I like to go to a small place in Taylorsville called Hi-Tec Nails: cute Asian ladies with tiny paintbrushes that can do miracles! Check out that plaid! Other places I love are any Aveda spas. Wish I knew of a sweet deal to tell you about, but go ahead and pamper. . .get one today!

Okay, so not too many great deals today, but here are a few worth mentioning:

You can print out a $10 off coupon for Disney's Earth Blu-ray or $5 off the DVD, only good this week! Walmart might even be less than these, but here are some prices at stores this week.

Rumor has it that IKEA has a kids eat free rule through Labor Day weekend. The great part is that there is no adult purchase required! As usual, check with your local IKEA store to make sure they are participating before you head there for the free grub!

There are some great travel deals through TravelZoo's Top 20, namely a 3 or 4-night Disney Bahamas Cruise for $299 and $399 per person, kids sail free! This is the kind of deal I have been waiting for! BUT, I just checked and because of the high demand, the $299 cabins are sold out. The $399 cabins are still available which is still a smokin' deal for a Disney cruise!

Hoodie, Chi, Monitor, Workout Attire, REI sale, Remotes

This cute little Disney McQueen hoodie is down to $9.99 from $30 at the Disney Store. Not sure what shipping costs or if your local store would have it, but it's so cute I had to put it up! Anyone want to go in on shipping with me?

If you've followed this blog, you already know that one of my favorite things in the world is my Chi hair straightener. WELL, it is cheaper than I have ever seen it at Buy.com right now at $64.99 with FREE SHIPPING!! If you've rationalized not getting one thus far, you just can't anymore because this is about half off what they usually are.

Costco has a 24" 1080p LCD tv monitor for $199.99 after an instant $40 off, and that includes free shipping. Not bad if you keep a second tv around, like in your room or another room in your house. Maybe it can even be used for a computer monitor.

Eastbay Outlet has some great sales on exercise clothing, some as low as $6.99. I was in a local fitness store once and the salesperson told me that Underarmor never goes on sale. Well, here's proof that he was wrong! Not only Underarmor, but Mizuno, Nike, Adidas, you name it! Free shipping with code IPEB99F9 on orders of $75 or more.

REI is having a Super Clearance for Labor Day weekend, but it has already started. We are talking kids Teva flip-flops for $4! Remember you can have them shipped for free to any REI store!

Ever lose that darn t.v remote? Well, I think you'd have a hard time losing these, and since it is Tuesday, you get 2 for the very low price of $4.99 through Woot.com.

Games, Kids Eat Free, Asian Food & Disney

You can get 50% off anything in the "Fun Stuff" section at DeepDiscount.com until the end of the month with the code 23017, plus most of the items include free shipping--again, great time to get Christmas gifts! Example: the above game is on sale for $13, but with the 50% off it is only $6.50! with free shipping! There are lots of fun games available.

In a recent article, The USA Today highlighted restaurants that are offering free meals for kids. Check it out here. Included is IHOP, kids free between 4 and 10 p.m. until Sept. 13. Also, Fazolis, kids free even on the weekends, until Aug. 30. There are more restaurants listed so check out the article.

Just because I absolutely LOVE oriental food, I have to put this next deal up. Asian Food Grocer is an online grocery store for anything Asian. My sister, who lived in Taiwan for nearly 2 years said the prices are pretty good. Try code SITESALE15 for 15% off perhaps. I haven't tried it yet, so it may or may not work.

Save an additional 35% off the Last Call section of Disney Outlet with code LASTCALL. My daughter is going to be the above Elizabeth Swann for Halloween this year, though I bought it in last year's mega-sale. There are other costumes, comforters and collectibles in the section.

Friday Favorite

We are in a totally different situation financially than we were about a year ago because we decided to get "gazelle-intense" with our finances. Anyone who has heard Dave Ramsey speak or read any of his stuff will know what that means. That is why I'm choosing to highlight Dave Ramsey on this Friday. He's my new BFF! It's logical, common sense, ideas that we've heard a hundred times, but somehow when you hear it from him it all comes together. Besides, his way of speaking is totally motivational. You can click here if you want to buy some of his products, but if you are in debt like we were, (note the past tense--yeah!) you can save your pennies and just get a few books on CD from your local library. I highly encourage you to if you are in any debt or financial strain at all. I know we will continue to use his methods as we work towards a goal of saving for our future and for the future of our children.

Friday Favorite

It has been a while since I have posted a Friday Favorite. Life has been crazy lately! Because it has been so crazy I have needed an extra pep in my step and I, along with my sister, have discovered Vitamin Water (Energy flavor). It works! It gives your body more of a natural energy, unlike caffeine would. I am able to get a lot more done when I have one. It's not something I can't live without each day, but if I feel sluggish, it might just be the added pick-me-up that I need. Is it psychological? Not sure. Try it and let me know! The other flavors are great as well. Tasty and you get your daily vitamins--no added colors! A bottle usually costs about a $1, although if you are lucky you can find it for .50 on sale.

Clothes, Baby Carrier, DVDs and Photography Classes

Saucony shoes just in time for school shopping. I love so many of these that I don't think I could settle on just one. I have one pair of Saucony shoes and by far they are one of my most comfortable. They are all $19.95 down from $50 and $60. Check out the selection at 6pm.

Macy's is having some great prices on men's pants. I'm too lazy to put them all in so go to this site and click on the link that interests you. There are some nice looking jeans for about $12! It seems like there are still plenty of sizes left. (Anyone around me ordering, let me know--my hubby doesn't get new clothes very often and jeans are something he goes through all too frequently.) Free shipping with code NEWBLUES on orders over $75.

Anyone in the market for a nice baby carrier for camping, hiking, etc. is in luck with the Sherpani Wahoo Child Carrier. Now through REI it is $89.93 BUT with code THNX2U9 you can save 25% making it only $67.43. Remember you can have it shipped to any REI location for free!

I love nature. I love being in nature, smelling nature and especially beholding the beauty of the world around me. Although we don't get the opportunity enough, my family enjoys camping, hiking, etc. That's why today I decided to highlight U.S. National Parks. If you are spontaneous enough to duck out to your nearest national park by tomorrow, you are in luck because this weekend is a fee-free weekend at all U.S. National Parks. Or you can buy a yearly pass like we did and enjoy parks all year long without fees. Me? I get to run my first half marathon through the beautiful Bryce Canyon National Park tomorrow. So do what you can to get out there and truly appreciate what God has graced us with!

Garmin watch, Movies, Lotions, Car Adapter, Buckle and Toys

Just because I really want one, I'm going to post the great deal on this Garmin watch first. My running friend just got one for her birthday. Don't know how much her hubby spent, but this seems like a decent deal. Regularly $300, the Garmin Forerunner 305 Portable Navigator is on sale at Buy for $160 with free shipping.

Buy is also having a summer sale on their movies. Check out their sale selection.

Crabtree and Evelyn has an online outlet with some great prices on lotions, soaps, etc. Items would make great gifts--take a look.

Meritline has a nice dual car adapter for only $1.99 with free shipping. I don't know how many times I have wished I had an extra plug in my car! Use code MLC262371N for the $2 off.

Buckle is having a clearance sale right now and there are some great prices on clothes, jewelry, shoes, etc. Check it out!

Want to get a head start on Christmas? Toys R Us is having a clearance sale, up to 70% off with free shipping on many of the items. Free standard shipping over $49.

Book, Borders and Fares, Fares, Fares!

Deseret Book has Sheri Dew's book, "God wants a Powerful People" for 75% off--that's only $4.99.

Yahoo, yet another Borders coupon! This time it's 25% off. Remember you can ship your book to a store near you for free.

Today is the last day of Southwest's 48-hour fare sale. There are too many deals to list, some as low as $30 each way! Click on the link and find your city to find where the deals are offered.

Seems as though the love is spreading because today Air Tran Airways launched THEIR 48-hour sale. Here are some sample roundtrip fares, which include all taxes:

- Orlando - Denver ... $179
- San Francisco - Ft. Lauderdale ... $179
- Denver - Ft. Myers ... $159
- Newark - Honolulu ... $533
- Tampa - Las Vegas ... $193
- Buffalo - Los Angeles ... $199
- Seattle - Miami ... $217
- Boston - Phoenix ... $199
- Philadelphia - San Diego ... $193
- Miami - San Francisco ... $189

Other cities are also available, but you have to look them up using the site. You can look at them and book them through CheapAir through Thursday night. To get the best rates, try to travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays and avoid Sunday flights, as discount seats are hardest to come by on that day.

I also thought I'd throw in, for local fans, the deals out of SLC today. My favorites are either to Seattle for $123 or San Diego for $98 or San Fransisco for $120 or how about Tampa for $180--all round-trip.

Suits, Rugs, Music, Coupons and More

If you need, or someone you know needs, a great suit, Amazon has some amazing deals on suits for men. The one pictured above retails for $1469, but is now only $99. If you know your size, this sale might be worth the gamble!

Got allergies? Use Nasonex? Click on this link and fill out the form and wallah, you can print off a $15 off coupon for any pharmacy.

I found a cool site called Shnoop that has a deal a day. Today's deal is a men's watch. Check it regularly as it changes every 24 hours I believe.

Amazon has some 600-thread count Renaissance sheets on sale. Price varies depending on size and color.

I am overflowing with grocery sacks these days. Yes I recycle and I try to use them in every way I can, BUT I've decided to go green and get some reusable grocery bags. I got mine in the dollar bins at Target, but that was before I saw Walgreens deal of 3 for a dollar through this week. I believe you need the coupon, but they have them in the ads at the front of the store.

One of the few magazines that I enjoy is Family Fun. There are some great ideas in this family-friendly magazine. You can get a yearly subscription now for $5.

I haven't tried convincing my husband that I need this rug yet, but dang it's a great price. Home Decorators Online Outlet has a 7'9" round rug for only $111.94, that includes shipping. Use code 8601771. There are other sizes available for even cheaper.

Moby fans will be happy to know that they can download their new album entitled "Wait for Me" for $3.99.

Borders has some 50% off coupons for tomorrow, celebrating Independence Day. Simply print out the coupon page and you can get the items listed, including your choice of 2 Blu-ray discs, at half off.

TODAY ONLY get 20% off your order at Gap with coupon code SALE20. Free shipping on orders over $100.

Ode to Michael. What a great performer! I loved him when he was at his best and in my opinion, Thriller was his best! (though I can also say I enjoyed many more subsequent albums). Buy.com has is 25th Anniversary Edition Thriller album, which came out last year, for $14.97, with free shipping.

Okay, one of my favorite places, Tulle, is having another one-day sale on July 7, starting at midnight. These are super-cute, unique items of clothing for super-cheap, like dresses for $8.99!

Friday Favorite

Having been in an accident yesterday (nothing serious, but jarred enough to cause damage to my car and many tears from the children) I dedicate this post to the Britax car seat. Having done my research at the time of it's purchase I found the advantages of this brand far outweighs other brands. It is a European brand and is pricier than others, but worth it in my opinion. Other car seats are only tested with front and rear collision tests, whereas Britax tests front, rear and both sides. The ratings always seem to be high. One characteristic I love is that somehow they have manufactured the seats to keep the straps straight. You ever have a car seat where the straps get all twisted and won't remain flat on your child's chest? In the 5 years I've owned one, I have never had mine twist. No lie. I feel like my child is safer knowing the professionals have put it through rigorous testing and it still passed with flying colors. Check out some decent prices if you are in the market and safe driving out there!

As I've been training for my very first half marathon, I've realized the importance of having a good running shoe. I love my New Balance shoes. I have the New Balance 902 shoes which works specifically for the way I run. I would suggest if you are in the market, to go to a running store and have your foot and running analyzed. What works for me may not work for you. That being said, if you love New Balance shoes like me, you are in luck because THIS WEEKEND 6pm has them on sale for some amazing prices! Most are at least 70% off. So get em, get on the road and get runnin'!

Ogio, Makeup and Fares

I love Ogio bags! I have a few and the quality is worthy every pretty penny. You don't have to spend very many pretty pennies if you act today! There are a few styles through 6pm on sale. The one pictured above retails for $70, but you can get it today only for $19.95.

Through this week at ELF (Eyes Lips Face) Cosmetics if you order $10 worth of product, you get 5 products free! Most of their products only cost $1 so you can get 15 items for $10 (plus shipping). Not a bad deal for makeup. Use code 5FOR5FREE at checkout.

San Diego - $98 RT
Las Vegas - $76 RT
Denver - $76 RT
Washington D.C. - $128 RT (US Airways)

Fridays, Freebies, Office Stuff and Canvas Prints

Valid until June 22, print this coupon out for a BOGO lunch at TGI Fridays.

If you or someone you know has a birthday coming up, you might want to check out all the birthday freebies you can get, everything from free meals to free movie rentals. Call me lazy, but I thought it too time-consuming to put in all the sites when someone else has done it already. Click on the links provided for more information, and, as always, check your local companies to make sure they are participating before you go!

Check out the front page of this week's Staples ad for some decent deals, namely a 50-pack photo supreme paper for only $1 with rebate and a 500-count HammerMill CopyPlus copy paper for just $1 with rebate. I'm not crazy about rebates, but if you happen to be a rebate-junkie, these are great deals.

Meritline has a deal for 100-pack CD/DVD White Paper Sleeves with Clear Window and Flap for $3.99 with free shipping. Not too shabby.

I saved the BEST for last since I think this is such a cool deal! Through Artscow you can get a 11"x14" photo canvas print at only $8.99/each w/ free shipping - No Quantity limit! These normally retail for $32 each, so this is a great deal. Checkout code is 899CANVAS and is good through June 30. Not only would these make great gifts, but if you need some decor for your walls and have some great shots stored on your computer, why not frame them and enjoy those prints on your wall?
